Statement of Governor Perdue on the Passing of Representative Dan Lakly

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue released the following statement concerning the passing of State Representative Dan Lakly of Fayette County:

“Mary and I were deeply saddened to hear of Dan’s sudden passing.  We offer our sympathies and condolences to his wife, Donna Lee, and his entire family.  Dan was a champion for the people of Fayette County and leaves behind a legacy of service to his community and all of Georgia’s citizens.  He will be greatly missed.”
