Governor Perdue Announces August Revenue Figures

ATLANTA - Governor Sonny Perdue announced today that net revenue collections for the month of August 2004 (FY05) totaled $1,266,860,000 compared to $1,003,222,000 for August 2003 (FY04).  This represents an increase $263 million (26.2%) over the previous year.

There were three additional deposit days in this reporting period accounting for $136 million of the total increase.  Removing the additional reporting days results in an increase of $127 million or 12.9%.
