Nissan Locates Southeast Headquarters in Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA - Governor Sonny Perdue welcomed today the relocation of Nissan's Southeast Region headquarters to the Vinings area of Atlanta from Jacksonville, Florida.  Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) is holding a grand opening event this evening at their new Southeast Region headquarters.   

"I welcome Nissan's decision to locate their Southeast headquarters in Atlanta," said Governor Sonny Perdue.  "Our transportation infrastructure, including Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport , the Savannah and Brunswick ports, and a skilled workforce make Georgia an ideal location for the automobile industry."

" Cobb County and Atlanta have welcomed us with open arms and we are proud to be part of this great community," said Patrick Doody, regional vice president of NNA's Southeast Region.  "We feel this location will afford us a great opportunity to grow the Nissan brand and we look forward to a long and prosperous future in Atlanta ."

The new 21,000 square foot offices will serve as headquarters for 42 employees plus 12 field personnel and will provide sales, marketing, and service support for Nissan automotive dealers throughout the southeastern part of the United States .   The Southeast Region supports more than 150 dealers in Georgia, Florida , Alabama , South Carolina as well as western North Carolina , middle Tennessee , and several dealers in Kentucky .
