Governor Perdue Announces New Director of Constituent Services

ATLANTA, GA - Governor Sonny Perdue announced today that Kay N. Robinson will serve as Director of Constituent Services for the Governor's Office beginning Monday, August 2. The position was vacated in January when Connie Smith resigned to take another position in state government.
"Providing constituent services is one of the most important functions of this office, and I look forward to Kay's leadership in addressing the many concerns of the people of Georgia," said Governor Sonny Perdue. "I appreciate the hard work of Clayton Bassett and the leadership he provided for the office during this transition period."

Kay N. Robinson, 59, Marietta , GA - Robinson was Vice President and Senior Worksite Account Manager for Wachovia Bank in Atlanta and has more than thirty years of experience in the banking industry. She previously served as Public Relations Officer for First City Bank of Newport News, Virginia and Bookkeeper for First National Exchange Bank, Roanoke, Virginia. Robinson is a member of the Wachovia VP Bank Club, past Chairman of the Wachovia Bank United Way Employee Giving Program, and has served as Chairman of the Peach Bowl Campaign. She is also the Vice President of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals. Robinson is a graduate of Ferrum College.
