Governor Perdue Greets Middle Eastern Delegation

SAVANNAH , GA - Governor Sonny Perdue and First Lady Mary Perdue today greeted the Middle Eastern delegation upon their arrival at Hunter Army Air Field. The Middle Eastern delegation includes Hamid Karzai , President of Afghanistan; Ghazi al- Yawer , President of Iraq; Recet Erdogan , Prime Minister of Turkey; Abdelaziz Bouteflika , President of Algeria; King Abdullah II of Jordan; and Ali Abdallah Salih , President of Yemen. Governor Perdue was joined by Senator Zell Miller, Senator and Mrs. Saxby Chambliss, Congressman and Mrs. Max Burns, Savannah Mayor Otis Johnson, and General Webster, Base Commander of Ft. Stewart .
