Governor Perdue Greets President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush

SAVANNAH , GA – Governor Sonny Perdue and Mrs. Mary Perdue greeted President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush upon their arrival on Air Force One at Hunter Army Airfield this evening. Governor Perdue was joined by Senator and Mrs. Saxby Chambliss; Brad Brown, Brunswick Mayor; Mark Bedner, Chair of the Glynn County Commission, Billy Haire, Chair of the Chatham County Commission and General Webster, the Base Commander of Ft. Stewart.

On Tuesday, Governor Perdue will return to Hunter Army Air Field to welcome the Heads of State of the participating G8 nations and the European Union.
