Atlanta - Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the following appointments to State Boards and Commissions:
Children's Trust Fund
Carole T. Kaczorowski, 66, Savannah, GA (1st Congressional District) - Kaczorowski has served on the Board of Directors of the Union City, New Jersey Mental Health Association, as Vice-President of the New Jersey Mental Health Association, Chair of the Child and Family Advocacy Committee, and a member of the New Jersey State Community Mental Health Board. She holds an undergraduate degree from Emory University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Rutgers University. Kaczorowski and her husband, Stanley, have five children.
Lori Hutchinson Grice, 34, Statesboro, GA (12th Congressional District) - Grice owns and operates Lori Grice Photography and Fine Art and is a nationally certified photographer. She currently serves on the COBA Entrepreneuralship/Small Business Advisory Board and as a senior member of the Statesboro Downtown Development Authority. Grice holds an undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University. She and her husband, Dewayne, have one child.
Georgia Public Telecommunications Commission
Ann C. Dorsey, 53, Atlanta, GA (At Large) - Dorsey is a member of the Board of Governors of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as the Director of External and Government Affairs for Luster National Inc., and has previously served as Director of Internal Affairs for MetLife and Director of External Affairs for Beaulieu of America.
State Soil and Water Conservation Commission
Carl Brack, 78, Carrollton, GA (Group I) - Brack serves as a member of the Water Quality Study Committee, treasurer of the Carroll County Cattlemen's Association and works with the Southern States Cooperative. Previously, he served the University of Georgia as a county agent and as Chairman of the West Georgia Soil & Water Conservation District. Brack holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Georgia. He has two children.
Dennis Truitt Brown, 49, Commerce, GA (Group III) - Brown is CEO of Big Creek Investments. He is a graduate of Athens Technical School. He and his wife, Darlene, have two children.
Board of Public Safety
David Hal Averitt, 69, Statesboro, GA (At Large) - Averitt is a former Mayor of Statesboro, a Charter Member of the Advisory Board of the Southern Center for Continuing Education, Georgia Southern University, past President of Georgia Southern College Foundation and past President of the Statesboro-Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife, Connie, have three children.
Lisa Godbey Wood, 40, St. Simon's Island, GA (At Large) - Wood is a partner in the law firm of Gilbert, Harrell, Sumerford & Martin. She sits on the United States District Court Advisory Committee for the Southern District of Georgia, the State Bar of Georgia Disciplinary Review Panel and is a member of the Southeast Georgia Health System Medical Ethics Advisory Board. Wood holds undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Richard, have two children.

Bill Bonner, 56, Fayetteville, GA - Bonner currently serves as the CEO of Southeast Properties. Previously, he has served as the Southeast Real Estate Manager for Dunkin' Donuts, Director of Real Estate for The Krystal Company, and as Fayette County Commissioner. Bonner holds an undergraduate degree from Georgia State University. He and his wife, Nancy, have four children.
State Board of Medical Education
Dane Kendall Gregory, 35, Augusta, GA - Gregory is in private practice with the Clinical Practice of Anesthesiology. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesia and was previously Chief Resident of Anesthesiology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Gregory holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He and his wife, Donna, have two children.

Harold A. Dawson, Jr., 39, Fairburn, GA (At Large) - Dawson is President of Harold A. Dawson Company, a real estate firm. Previously, he served as Director of Capital Markets for Trammell Crow Company/Trammell Crow Ventures. Dawson holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard. He and his wife, Sonia, have three children.
Georgia Commission on the Holocaust
Russell R. Weiskircher, 78, Cleveland, GA (Reappointment) - Weiskircher is a retired Army Brigadier General whose decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts. He has also served as an instructor with the ROTC and the Army War College. Weiskircher is ordained in the Disciples of Christ Church. He holds degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and the Western Pennsylvania Theological Seminary.

Jaydee Atkins Ager, 50, Kathleen, GA (Consumer Member) - Ager currently serves as President of the Garden Club of Georgia, Inc., and represents the Garden Club on their Roadside Enhancement and Beautification Council. Ager and her husband, Les, have one child.
