Atlanta - Governor Sonny Perdue today signed the following legislation into law:
House Bill 519 | A BILL to amend Code Section 12-3-318 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to purposes for which income, gifts, grants, appropriations, bonds, or loans may be used by the Lake Lanier Islands Development Authority, so as to require certain allocation of certain funds received by the authority; and for other purposes. |
House Bill 527 | A BILL to amend Article 10 of Chapter 5 of Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the ad valorem taxation of motor vehicles and mobile homes, so as to provide that farm equipment held in inventory for resale shall be exempt from taxation; and for other purposes. |
House Bill 757 | A BILL to amend Code Section 26-2-268 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to information labels affixed to cases of eggs, so as to provide for the use of certain labeling information concerning expiration dates on eggs; and for other purposes. |
