Governor Perdue Reappoints Four Administration Officials

Atlanta - Governor Sonny Perdue today announced the reappointment of the following state officials to key positions in his administration:
- Dr. Kenneth H. Breeden, Commissioner, Department of Technical and Adult Education
- Doug J. Marchand, Executive Director, Georgia Ports Authority
The following individuals will be reappointed until their retirement later this year:
- F. Graham Liles, Jr., Executive Director, Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission
- David Saye, Director, Georgia Public Safety Training Center
"I am privileged to reappoint these committed public servants and their continued service will be a strong asset to my administration and the people of Georgia," said Governor Perdue.
In addition, the Governor accepted the resignation of Helen Scholes, Executive Director, Georgia Building Authority, and Cathey W. Steinberg, Consumers' Insurance Advocate.
The Governor remains engaged in the ongoing process of reviewing the status of various agency positions. All Department heads are asked to continue their service until the review process is complete.
