Governor Perdue Announces Next Saturday with Sonny

Governor to Meet with Constituents at State Capitol

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue will hold his next “Saturday with Sonny” ( SWS ) on Saturday, January 21, 2006, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Atlanta , Georgia at the State Capitol, 206 Washington St .  Citizens will have five minutes with the Governor to share their thoughts, discuss an issue or ask a question. 

To meet personally with Governor Perdue, citizens must reserve an appointment in advance by calling the Governor's Constituent Services Hotline at (404) 656-1776. 

Reservations will be accepted beginning Tuesday, January 17, 2005, at 8:00 a.m. on a first come, first serve basis.  Depending on availability, reservations will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m.  The five-minute meetings with Governor Perdue will not be open to media or registered lobbyists. 

Participants are asked to arrive no earlier than 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 21.  In order to meet with Governor Perdue, participants must have a scheduled appointment and identification.
