ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the appointment of Oliver Harris Doss, Jr., to the Superior Court of the Appalachian Judicial Circuit. The vacancy was created by House Bill 97, passed during the 2005 legislative session. A brief biography is provided below.
Oliver Harris Doss, Jr., 61, Blue Ridge , GA – Doss operates a private law practice, Doss and Doss Attorneys, with his wife Lynn Dillard Doss in Blue Ridge . He received his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University , his masters of law in government contracts from George Washington University in Washington , D.C. , and his bachelor's degree from Mercer University . Doss served on active and reserve duty with the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1997. Doss has six children.
