Statement of Governor Sonny Perdue Regarding the Death of State Representative Henry Howard

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue issued the following statement today regarding the death of State Representative Henry Howard (D-Augusta):

“Mary and I extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Representative Henry Howard. For 14 years he represented the people of Augusta in the state legislature with distinction. Representative Howard’s leadership, his strong faith in God and his service to the community will be sorely missed.”
