Judicial Nominating Commission Recommends Applicants to Fill Judicial Vacancy

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue’s Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) has submitted recommendations to fill the vacancy on the State Court of Cobb County. The vacancy was created by House Bill 1650, passed during the 2004 legislative session. The following applicants were recommended to Governor Perdue:

• Carl Wayne Bowers – Partner, Bowers, Guerra & Yeager, P.C.
• Carrie T. Harris – Sole practitioner, Marietta, Georgia
• Nancy Ingram Jordan – Sole practitioner, Marietta, Georgia
• John B. Gatto – Judge, Georgia Office of State Administrative Hearings
• Dana Joel Norman – Assistant District Attorney, Cobb County
