ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the appointment of Jason J. Deal to the Superior Court of the Northeastern Judicial Circuit. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Judge John E. Girardeau.
A brief biography is provided below:
Jason J. Deal, 37, Clermont, Georgia – Deal has served as the District Attorney of the Northeastern Circuit since 2002. Previously, he served as a Magistrate Judge with the Hall County Magistrate Court, Assistant District Attorney of the Northeastern Circuit and an associate with Thompson, Fox, et. al. in the Dawson County branch. Deal received his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in biology from Furman University.
