ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the appointment of W. James Sizemore to the Superior Court of the Southwestern Judicial Circuit. The vacancy was created by the death of Judge John V. Harper.
A brief biography is provided below:
W. James Sizemore, Jr., 49, Leesburg, GA – Sizemore is presently a solo practitioner in Leesburg, Georgia. He also serves as Associate Magistrate Court Judge for Lee County and Municipal Court Judge for the City of Plains and the City of Albany. Sizemore is a member of the American Bar Association, Dougherty County Bar Association, Southwestern Judicial Circuit Bar Association and currently serves as chairman of the Lee County Chamber of Commerce. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of West Georgia and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.
