ATLANTA, GA – Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the appointment of James R. Osborne to the Superior Court of the Paulding County Judicial Circuit. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Judge W.A. Foster, III effective February 1, 2005.
A brief biography is provided below:
James R. Osborne, 51, Dallas, Georgia – Osborne has served as the District Attorney of the Paulding Judicial Circuit since July 2002. Previously, he served as the District Attorney of the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit (1995-2002) and was a partner with Vinson, Osborne, Richardson and Cable (1978-1994). Osborne received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
