Judicial Nominating Commission Recommends Nominees to Fill Vacancy on Richmond County State Court

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue’s Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) has submitted recommendations to fill a new judgeship on the State Court of Richmond County. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Chief Judge Gayle B. Hamrick.

The JNC submitted the following short list of names:

• Benjamin Allen –Judge, Juvenile Court, Augusta Judicial Circuit
• John Flythe – Associate Judge, Grovetown Municipal Court
