Judicial Nominating Commission Recommends Nominees to Fill Vacancy on the Long County State Court

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue’s Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) has submitted recommendations to fill a new judgeship on the State Court of Long County. The new vacancy was created by the passing of Judge Richard D. Phillips.

The JNC submitted the following short list of names:

• Jeffery L. Arnold –Arnold, Stafford, Randolph
• Robert F. Pirkle –Assistant Judge, State Court, Liberty County
