Governor Perdue appoints District Attorney for Mountain Judicial Circuit

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the appointment of Brian M. Rickman as the district attorney for the Mountain Judicial Circuit, comprised of Habersham, Rabun and Stephens Counties.  The vacancy for this position was created by the resignation of Michael H. Crawford. 

A brief biography is provided below:

Brian M. Rickman, 30, Tiger, GA – Rickman is currently a partner at the firm Stockton & Rickman, LLC.  Previously, he served with the district attorney offices of the Mountain, Alcovy and Piedmont Judicial Circuits as assistant district attorney.  He earned his bachelor’s degree from Piedmont College and his law degree from the University of Georgia.  Brian and his wife, Maggie, have one son and are expecting a baby girl.
