Perdue wishes team well as they prepare to take on Pittsburg State in the NCAA Division II Championship Football Game
ATLANTA, GA – Today Governor Perdue announced that he would be making a wager with the state of Kansas over the outcome of the Valdosta State vs. Pittsburg State NCAA Division II Championship Football Game.
“I’m not afraid of putting produce from the fine State of Georgia on the line with the good folks of Kansas and Governor Sebelius. My only worry is that I may be too full with, my wife, Mary’s Christmas time treats to enjoy the delicious Kansas corn or other delicacies they will send my way after Valdosta State’s triumph. Go Blazers!”
Valdosta State finished the regular season ranked number three and has won 12 straight games. Pittsburg State is 14-0 this year. The Championship game takes place tomorrow at Braly Stadium at 4 p.m. in Florence, Alabama.
