Governor Perdue Announces July Revenue Figures

ATLANTA, GA - Governor Sonny Perdue announced today that net revenue collections for the month of July 2004 (FY05) totaled $870,867,000 compared to $821,080,000 for July 2003 (FY04), an increase of 49,787,000 or 6.1%. July is the first month of the new fiscal year.

2. Major tax categories are reported. Other taxes and fees are included in "Other Fees and Sales".
3. Other Fees and Sales include taxes and fees that have been deposited in the bank, but the returns have not been processed. It also includes unclaimed property and children's trust fund.
4. As of July 1, 2004, the Georgia Superior Court Clerk's Cooperative Authority was given the authority to collect Peace Officer's and Prosecutor's Training Fund and State Children's Trust Fund directly from the courts.
