ATLANTA, GA - Governor Sonny Perdue today welcomed Eldorado Stone to Georgia.  Company officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony in Dublin, GA this morning to announce plans for a new 60,000 square-foot manufacturing facility and distribution center that will employ more than 100 full-time positions with the possibility for future expansion.

" Georgia's door is open for new business and I'm pleased that Eldorado Stone has chosen to locate a facility in our state," said Governor Sonny Perdue.  "We appreciate their business and the jobs that this new facility will bring to the Dublin community."

Eldorado Stone is a leading manufacturer of architectural stone veneer.  The facility will manufacture the company's entire core product line of stone, along with its line of Eastern regional stone profiles.  It is expected to open in March 2005.

"We are extremely pleased to establish this working relationship with the Dublin community," says Mike Lewis, President of Eldorado Stone.  "The Southeast has become our biggest emerging market and we spent several months conducting an extensive facility search to find just the right location to expand our manufacturing and distribution operations.  For all the right reasons, Dublin is that location."

Eldorado Stone, LLC is headquartered in San Marcos, CA.  They currently operate manufacturing facilities in several states with regional distribution centers across the U.S.  This is the company's first facility in Georgia.  For more information, visit www.eldoradostone.com .
