Judicial Nominating Commission Recommends Applicants to Fill Judicial Vacancies

ATLANTA , GA - Governor Perdue's Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) submitted recommendations to fill the vacancy on the State Court of Chattooga County . The vacancy was created by the resignation of Judge Carlton Vines. The following applicants were recommended to Governor Perdue:
* Archibald A. Farrar, Jr. - Farrar and Corbin, P.C.
* Samuel C. Finster , Sr. - Judge, Summerville Municipal Court
One applicant was received and recommended by the JNC for the State Court of Charlton County - J. Kelly Brooks, a partner with Adams and Brooks in Folkston , GA. This vacancy was created through legislation passed during the 2004 General Assembly.
