ATLANTA, GA - Governor Sonny Perdue has proclaimed Friday June 11, 2004, "A Day of Remembrance For President Ronald Wilson Reagan." The governor also encourages all Georgians to observe a moment of silence tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. as the national funeral service begins in Washington, D.C.
For the past two years, Governor Perdue proclaimed February 6th, "Ronald Reagan Day" in Georgia. The "A Day of Remembrance For President Ronald Wilson Reagan" Proclamation is attached.
