Atlanta - Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the following appointments to the Georgia Development Authority:
Tom Jarrard , 60, Gainesville , GA , Public Representative - Jarrard currently practices law at Carey, Jarrard & Walker. He serves on the Hall County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and is past Chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board. Jarrard received his undergraduate degree from North Georgia College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia . He and his wife, Nancy , have four children.
John Mark Mobley, Jr., 44, Moultrie, GA, Agricultural Representative - Mobley is currently partner in several family owned businesses-Mobley Gin Company, Mobley Plant Company, and Mobley Greenhouses. He serves on the Board of Directors for American Banking Company and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Mobley attended Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College and the University of Georgia . He and his wife, Judy, have four children.
