Governor Perdue Appoints J.T. Williams to Georgia Regional Transportation Authority Board

Atlanta - Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the appointment of J.T. Williams to the Board of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA). Williams is replacing Andrella Bayliss whose term expired.

A brief biography is provided below:

J.T. Williams, 70, Stockbridge, GA - Williams is currently the Chairman and CEO of Killearn, Inc., a family-owned company. He previously served as the Treasurer and Chairman of Finance of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District Governing Board, Chairman of the Georgia State Board of Education, and Chairman of the Atlanta Regional Business Coalition. Williams was recently the recipient of the Herman Talmadge Visionary Award, presented by the Henry County Chamber of Commerce. He has three sons and twelve grandchildren.
