Atlanta - Governor Sonny Perdue issued the following statement today regarding Speaker Tom Murphy:
"Mary and I were deeply saddened to learn of Speaker Murphy's illness and we pray for a speedy and complete recovery. The Speaker and his family are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers."
