Governor Perdue Announces Judicial Appointment
ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the appointment of Christopher Brasher to the Superior Court of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Judge M. Gino Brogdon. A brief biography is provided below.
Christopher Brasher, 40, Alpharetta, GA – Brasher spent the past ten years with the Georgia Department of Law, serving most recently as senior assistant attorney general. Previously, he served as assistant district attorney for the Alcovy Judicial Circuit. He received his law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law and his bachelor’s degree in political science from Furman University. Brasher is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children.
