Judicial Nominating Commission Recommends Applicants to Fill Judicial Vacancy
ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue’s Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) has submitted the following recommendations to fill the vacancy on the Lowndes County State Court created by the resignation of Judge Kelly D. Turner:
- John K. Edwards, Jr. – Judge, Municipal Court for the City of Valdosta
- Richard W. Shelton – Lowndes County Solicitor General
- Karla L. Walker – Partner, Copeland, Haugabrook and Walker, Valdosta, GA
The JNC submitted the recommendations on Wednesday, April 26, 2006.
