Governor Perdue Announces Judicial Appointments

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the appointment of Craig L. Schwall, Sr. to the Superior Court of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit.  The vacancy was created by the death of Judge Rowland W. Barnes.

Governor Perdue also announced the appointment of Fred C. Eady to the Fulton County State Court, replacing Craig L. Schwall, Sr.

Brief biographies are provided below:

Craig L. Schwall, Sr., 41, Atlanta , Georgia – Schwall has served as a Judge on the Fulton County State Court since 2003.  Previously, he served as a Magistrate Judge with the Fulton County Magistrate Court , a partner with Schwall & Schwall Attorneys at Law and an associate with Schwall & Ruff.  Schwall received his law degree from the Emory University School of Law and his bachelor's degree in political science from Auburn University .

Fred C. Eady, 49, Atlanta , Georgia – Eady has served as a Magistrate Judge with the Fulton County Superior Court since 2002.  His previous experience includes serving as a sole practitioner in College Park , Georgia and a partner with Eady & Eaton , PA.   Eady received his law degree from the Woodrow Wilson Law School and his bachelor's degree from Albany State University .
