Governor Perdue to Appoint Judges to the Superior Courts of the Mountain Judicial Circuit and Appalachian Judicial Circuit

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue today announced he will make three judicial appointments.  Russell Smith will be appointed to the Superior Court of the Mountain Judicial Circuit to replace Judge Woods, who had already resigned.  Linton Crawford, Jr. will be appointed to the Superior Court of the Mountain Judicial Circuit to replace Judge Cornwell, who resigned today effective May 15.   Amanda Mercier will be appointed to the Superior Court of the Appalachian Judicial Circuit to replace Judge Doss, who had resigned.

• Linton K. (Kim) Crawford, Jr.– State Court Judge, Habersham County

Appalachian Judicial Circuit
