Judicial Nominating Commission Recommends Nominees to Fill Vacancy on the Douglas County State Court

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue’s Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) has submitted recommendations to fill a new judgeship on the State Court of Douglas County. The new judgeship was created this year by the General Assembly.

The JNC submitted the following short list of names:

• James E. Barker – Assistant District Attorney, Douglas County
• Lois W. Gerstenberger – Solicitor, Municipal Court of Douglasville
• Jeffrey P. Richards – Hartley, Rowe & Fowler, P.C.
