Judicial Nominating Commission Recommends Nominees to Fill Vacancy on Mountain Judicial Circuit

ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue’s Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) has submitted recommendations to fill a new judgeship on the Superior Court of the Mountain Judicial Circuit. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Judge Ernest H. Woods, III.

The JNC submitted the following short list of names:

• Susan G. Campbell – Partner, Campbell & Campbell
• Linton K. (Kim) Crawford, Jr.– State Court Judge, Habersham County
• Russell W. (Rusty) Smith – Partner, Sanders, Smith & Ranck, PC
