ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue issued the following statement today regarding the relocation of Sony Ericsson’s North American headquarters to Atlanta:
“Today’s report that Sony Ericsson will relocate its North American headquarters to Georgia will be another boost to our state’s economy. Our talented workforce, connected transportation network, and access to high-tech industry are all keys to our success attracting corporate headquarters and quality jobs. It is particularly exciting to see advanced technology companies such as Sony Ericsson, NCR, Verizon and others that have continued to expand their presence here in Georgia. Sony Ericsson’s decision to select Georgia as the ideal location for its North American headquarters reinforces our reputation as a global business hub.”
